Abstract

The expression of one's devotion to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) is called Naat. It is an expression of devotion and love; it is not a profession. The Companions of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) have a prominent place in the field of Naat because it was in front of them that the centre and axis of divine revelation was revealed. They saw this great being with their own eyes and put these feelings into words, who better than them to express their feelings? How one can express his feeling with great passion except them. The Companions were more aware of the virtues and perfections of the Prophet (ﷺ) than we are, so we can find better guidance in his words. This article is a link to the series on how the Companions observed the attributes of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and what they saw with their own eyes, and the praises of his family are described in another article. May Allah Almighty grant us the true love and affection of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) through the charity of His holy servants and their words? Ameen
